My live photography focuses on capturing the atmosphere, emotions and energy that exist within music spaces. Using my small digital camera, I document the movement of the performers and the passion in the room. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and attending concerts is where I feel most inspired. A significant portion of this body of work comes from Between Friends events. Their energy and visuals have heavily influenced my style. Photographing them has allowed me to explore how lighting and rhythm can be translated into imagery. My interest in music culture drives my work, I want to capture the feelings felt whilst experiencing live music.
